What is included in every suite?+
Every suite is spacious and individually styled, with a premium mattress, bedside reading lamps, air conditioning, heating, high-speed WiFi, a sitting area, wardrobes, a fridge, iron, safe and hairdryer. Each room has a kettle with coffee, tea and sugar, a private bathroom with shampoo and shower gel, and a TV with DStv satellite channels, Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video. Towels for the pool or beach are provided.
Is breakfast provided, or can we prepare our own meals?+
Breakfast is not offered. You are welcome to prepare your own meals in our fully equipped communal kitchen. There is a coffee machine in the lounge, and every suite has a fridge and a kettle with coffee, tea and sugar.
Do you offer cleaning and laundry?+
Daily cleaning is provided, and a laundry service is available at the guesthouse.
What parking and security are available?+
Parking is available in front of the property, covered by 24-hour camera surveillance. Security cameras cover the guesthouse entrance, and a neighbourhood security company provides a 24-hour service. CapeAura is on a quiet residential street with little traffic.
Which suite should I choose?+
Choose a Suite with Sea View for a king-size bed, a jacuzzi bath, a shower and a private sea-view terrace. The two Table Mountain View Suites each have a private terrace with Table Mountain views, with different bathroom layouts. The King Suite with Jacuzzi has a king-size bed and a private outdoor jacuzzi patio.
Do both Table Mountain View Suites have a bathtub?+
No. One has a bathtub and shower; the other has a shower only. Our suite gallery shows both layouts separately. If a bathtub is essential to your stay, confirm the specific room with the property before booking.
Which spaces can guests enjoy?+
The pool, lounge, communal kitchen and sea-view terrace are available to all guests. With an exclusive booking of the entire Luxury Boutique Guesthouse, these spaces are reserved for your group. Private room terraces and the King Suite’s outdoor jacuzzi patio belong to their respective suites.
Can we reserve the entire Luxury Boutique Guesthouse for our group?+
Yes. You can request exclusive use of all six suites and the guest spaces. CapeAura hosts up to 14 guests, or up to 18 in total with extra single beds arranged in the larger rooms. We confirm the room layout, extra beds and rate with you before booking.
What are the quiet hours?+
CapeAura is in a residential neighbourhood. Quiet hours are 9pm–9am every day. The property must remain quiet during these hours, including when renting the entire guesthouse for a private group.
Can you arrange transfers and activities?+
Yes. We can arrange airport transfers both ways, Jeep Wrangler hire and day trips including township visits, wine tasting, the Cape Peninsula, shark cage diving, kayaking, Atlantis dunes quad biking, paragliding and sunset tours. Select your interests in the reservation request; we confirm availability, rates and inclusions personally.
How do online reservations work?+
Choose your dates and complete the reservation request here on our website. Your request goes directly to CapeAura. We will confirm room availability, the total price and booking conditions with you personally. Sending a request does not yet confirm a reservation, and no payment is taken at this step.
Can I see the room and bathroom before booking?+
Yes. The gallery includes 50 selected photographs of the bedrooms, bathrooms, terraces, the pool and guest spaces. Each suite has its own décor, so explore the individual galleries to see the differences.
Is the property step-free?+
The property has steps at the entrance and internal stairs, shown in the guest-space gallery. Please confirm your specific mobility or access needs with the property before reserving.
